11:18 pm
where we saw almost an inch of rain come down during the day and look at the rainfall map. if we kind of went back on the clocks and the calendars back to january, this would look like a january storm, half inch to an inch and a half of rain, almost two inches of rain and ben lowman. enough rain fell today in santa rosa, san francisco, concord and san jose that we eclipsed the monthly rainfall average in just one day. so from here, this is how much more we're going to see tomorrow. most of this early tomorrow morning around the santa cruz mountains hills east of san jose. not much to see there, but still that lingering chance of seeing a few showers. kind of like what we're seeing right now on the radar. the focus should be for areas south of san francisco overnight, especially around the santa cruz mountains, down around san jose into the morning. and then we have those sunny skies to partly cloudy skies. more sunshine here to wrap up the weekend, but look at these morning temperatures last few mornings we've been in the 50s to start, so as you wake up tomorrow morning and want to go out on that morning run, watch
11:19 pm
out for low to mid 40s, chilly start, 30s up around clear lake to start the morning tomorrow. by lunchtime we start to climb into the upper 50s. but even if the sunshine highs tomorrow staying pretty cool. only 62 in san jose and 50s from san francisco to oakland. but moving forward monday, tuesday and wednesday, those temperatures do start to come up closer to the average highs, which ought to be in the 70s this time of year. we'll get there by tuesday, and then by wednesday we begin to see a chance of 80s returning to the east bay valleys over towards santa rosa and 78 degrees in san jose and even san francisco to oakland. seeing those temperatures climbing into the 70s. so you can see how the rain starts to move off to the north as we head towards the middle part of the week, heading towards next weekend, upper low is going to set up across the state. could bring some showers to the sierra right now. not expecting much in the way of rain here, but likely some cooler temperatures as we head into next saturday and sunday. so there's the progression of the warm up around san francisco warmest days of the week. look to be tuesday through friday.
11:20 pm
inland valleys, thursday and friday. warmest days of the week. we'll get a few extra clouds right now. not going to put rain drops down yet for next weekend. yeah, because you can jinx it. fight that trend. but stay tuned. we do have a little taste of spring weather, at least for the better part of the workweek. at least that 7-day forecast. all right, rob, thanks very much. the earthquakes win for the first time in six weeks. how the black and blue rocked levi's stadium and lafc to the ground. sports is next
