remmington road closed right there, the alternates morris road, wynnewood road. on the pennsylvania turnpike eastbound, this is just past willow grove, an accident, vehicle struck, a barrier, so the cars now on the shoulder of the road. finally, i9 at southbound, the off ramp to the blue route road work that has the left lane blocked. chris? >> 5:03. to the breaking news, at least one person is dead following an accident on 276 montgomery county. the accident involved one vehicle, and a tractor-trailer according to pennsylvania state police, two other people were taken to a hospital in serious condition, it is unclear what caused the accident, but we understand, as sue said, thisthere is has s now been cleared. and in philadelphia, an innocent bystander is in critical condition shot by two robbers, police tell us the men robbed a barber shop in the hunting park section last night. their gunfire hit a person standing nearby in the face. and that person is at temple hospital being treated right now. 53:03 the time. us lawmakers are calling for increased surveillance in the

wake of two deadly attacks up in canada in less than a week. >> yes, this is the amateur video from inside parliament yesterday, dozens of shots rang out, through the halls. authorities say that a mask gunman shot and killed a canadian soldier outside of the building in ottawa that attacker then ran into parliament, and fired more shots, before being killed by the sergeant at arms. canada's prime minister vows the country will not be intimidated. >> this will lead us to strength err our resolve, redouble our efforts, and those of our national security agencies to take all necessary steps to identify and counter threat. >> the shooter has been id as is a 32 year old convert to islam, earlier this week, a man described by authorities as isis inspired terrorist attacked two canadian soldiers in quebec, killing one of them. meanwhile, the white house is on look-down after another fence jumper breached security, that's the second time it has happened in about a month. this time, though, the secret service reaction was swift.

cameras catching this man in white shorts, just inside of the white house fence, he lifts his shirt, maybe to show that he didn't have any weapons, we're not sure, but then he kicked and punched two secret service dogs, as the agents closed in. on september 19th, another man jumped the fence, and actually made it into the white house. >> 5:05 the time. doctors cents say ebola no longer detect in a second nurse diagnosed with the virus. seen here being treat in the atlanta. more tests expected. diagnose as nurse infected with ebola after treat ago patients who later died. another dallas nurse, nina pham, sick with the virus, now in fair condition. she is being treated in maryland. we understand her dog, who was quarantined, is also doing well. and there it is, the puppy, the first ebola test for this quarantine king charles spaniel has come back negative. health officials say they'll test bently again before his 21 day quarantine period ends, on november 1st. >> in connecticut a family of

six quarantined after returning from trip to west africa, returned from their trip on saturday, and although weren't showing any signs of ebola, they say the isolation is precautionary. the family was quarantined yesterday, than quarantine will last 21 days, as we've been reporting. they had been flagged by transportation security administration officials at jfk airport. officials haven't said which country specifically they had been to. >> this is some good news. gas prices, have you noticed, nationwide, they continue to really fall. someplaces in our area, drivers are filling up for less than three bucks a gallon. >> new jersey always halls some of the best prices in the country even if they are above three bucks. fox 29's steve keeley live in moorestown, new jersey, little more on what exactly is behind this drop. steve? >> reporter: specially with the nasty damp raw weather, you don't get out of your car over here, so you probably want to pay $7 a gallon just to avoid having to get your hands on that discusting pump, and having to get out of your car. but look how low they are here. 2.71 a gallon at the citco on

route 38 and church road, here in moorestown, right on the mt. laurel border. this is our low price leader, closest to the philly bridges. that's more than 50 cents a gallon cheaper than most of the philly gas stations cents, we pass coming over here. pennsylvania not yet one of the 17 states, where gas is under three bucks a gallon. so why is it so cheap? well, tomorrow, two years to the day, sandy, officially, came, a hurricane from tropical storm as it first hit jamaica two years ago. and no hurricanes hitting off shore refineries this season, one of the major reasons why gas is solo. low demand, the top reason, high prices cents have put many of us in economic cars and trained us to only drive when we have to. solo gas prices one of the best instant economic stimuli, you like that, that's the pleural of stimulus, when gas down, it adds 67 billion to the u.s. economy, and the savings here are spent everywhere else, less money for gas, leaves more money for

food, clothes, and entertainment. so you might go to the movies where you wouldn't when you are paying close to six bucks a gallon. so even if like most workers who haven't gotten raises in recent years, cuts the cows of leaving, with cheaper gas and home heating oil, as it gets colder, gives us all a boost to our budget at home, and with one of the biggest travel times of the year fast approaching in just four weeks, a low gas price gives us our first thing to be thankful for, for that tank full this thanksgiving. you like that, chris? thankful for the tank full. >> i love it. we're thankful that light crude oil per barrel, behind 2008, $142, roughly, per barrel. it is well under 100 now. >> and chris, because of that, iran has to survive on $142 a barrel, they're pumping out more, and so that's creating a lot more gas on the supply side, also, one of the major reasons the prices also coming down. >> yes, and people driving more electric cars it seems so

then demand also going down. so that's like prices going down. thank you for the economic lesson, steve keeley, we appreciate it, sir. 5:09 the time. shooting in anaheim california, seven year old girl, this happened just last night, little after 7:00. police say that she was playing with other children when she was shot. she was rushed to the hospital where she died. police this morning are still searching for the gunman. >> cents also, more evidence being revealed in a police-involved shoot that killed an unarmed teen in missouri. michael brown's official autopsy indicates he was shot in the hands, and of course that was very close range, now some sources say this and other physical evidence in the report support officer wilson's claim that there was a struggle before brown was shot. but a medical examiner not involved in the investigation says there is no way to determine if in fact the teen was reaching for the officer's gun. meanwhile, a protests continue in ferguson, missouri, more than two months after the teen was killed. grand jury has until january

with showers, eventually tapering, it will be cloudy, windy, the rest of the day. not look that great for thursday. but wait until you see the weekend, that's coming up. right now, 5:32, time to check traffic again. we go back to wynnewood, remmington road, between lancaster avenue and haverford road, an accident has cleared, and the road open again. the accident that is where the vehicle struck the wall barrier on the turnpike eastbound, that has cleared, as well. and on i95 southbound, the off ramp to be blue route, still some road work out there. and the left lane is blocked. kerry? >> sue, thank you. little more information on that accident you mentioned on the turnpike, fatal accident, that has since been cleared, the good news, but still breaking this morning. we do know that one person is dead following that accident in montgomery county, it involves a car, and tractor-trailer, that's what pennsylvania state police are saying, anyway. two other people were taken to the hospital in serious condition, at this point, not sure exactly with a caused it, but we will continue to gather information for this morning.

talking hundreds with heightened attention to air travel, because of this ebola virus. philly airport workers say this is in ongoing issue for them, they say they've always been uncomfortable about protection when it comes to any infectious disease, these are the men and women cleaning planes and other common areas, shared bypass inning ers, who travel all over the world. they say flimsy gloves and questionable protective gear offer very little protection when they come in close contact with bodily fluids and other germs. listen to how these workers say they feel about all of this. >> the airlines seem to have more regard for saving money, hiring bottom level contractors, than actually providing for the safety of their passengers, of the workers. >> need some consideration, like considering giving us the proper training. then we need the proper equipment. >> since the ebola virus has come out, everybody's knows about what's going on, but we've always had issue with infectious diseases. >> now, all of this is happening as the us says any travelers who come from ebola

stricken west african nations also now be monitored for three weeks, this of course is the latest move by the feds, to keep this disease from spreading in our country. those new measures will take effect monday, in six states, including right here in pennsylvania. what happens is these passengers will be given a kit, have to hand over their contact information, they'll have to take their temperature and report it back to health officials for at least 21 days. chris, kerry? >> okay, lauren johnson live for us, philadelphia international, thank you. at 5:35, doctors say thankfully ebola is no longer detect in the second nurse diagnosed, being treat in the atlanta. do have to do more tests, but she was infect in the dallas after treat ago patient there who died. there was another dallas news, nina pham, also sick with the virus, that's now in fair condition. she is being treated in maryland. classes are back on today at the pen view christian school and in franconia township. bomb scare closed the school yesterday. this just one day after six police officers of the small

town received pink slips, worrying some residents, won't be strong enough to respond to emergencies effectively. the principal of that school says that the evacuated student went to nearby church,ly say, a search of the campus came up empty. when it comes to the police officer layoffs, the township sites financial concerns. mt. laurel police make arrest in a bizarre harrassment case, it all started earlier this month at the shoprite on arc road. investigators say a woman had just finished putting groceries into her car when a man approached her and grabbed two of her toes, then he walked away. the woman was not hurt. at least not physically. police have now charged 30 year old jared johnson, jr. with harrassment in that case. 5:36. casual weekend, turns into a parent's worse nightmare for one local family. her little boy is okay now, though, but hear one mom's search for the mystery hero, who saved him. then, one little boy's ride through a store starts to strangely resemble a famous

>> 5:39. atlantic city taj mahal could stay open for now. dropping the threat to close the casino on november 13th. last week, a judge ruled, the taj could void union contracts with its employees in order to try to stay open. the company says it still cannot guarantee the casino won't close by the ends of the year, but it says it, will definitely remain open throughout the month of november. now, if the taj closes cents its doors, it will be the fifth casino to do so this year. 5:40. some brand new pole numbers by the way on atlantic city's casinos this morning. new rutgers eagleton pole shows majority of those surveyed believe the resort towns best days are behind it. meanwhile, casinos in neighboring states are continuing to hurt atlantic city, 38% of those surveyed say they've gone out of state in the past year in order to gamble. so, basically, it has been raining non-stop it seems like pretty much. >> pretty much. >> would you believe we received less than half inch of rain in most places, knew. >> yes, annoying enough to think that there should have

been more, but, .4 of an inch, this is yesterday's rainfall total. now add to that today. but we got close to inch in wrightstown, also, in atlantic city, half inch in wilmington. so that was yesterday. this is today. and here comes more. so when all is said and done, probably end up with maybe inch or so of rain total over the two days. because yes, rain is returning to the area around reading, in parts of bucks county, around trenton, as well as the delaware beaches around probably dewey and bethany this morning. so, 53 degrees in philadelphia at the moment. most of our other temperatures are in the lower 50's. not going to move much. but boy, the winds is moving. 17-mile an hour sustained winds, in philadelphia, 21 miles an hour in wilmington, and look at the wind gusts, 29 miles an hour, 25 miles an hour, so it will blow you around a little bit. a lot of the leaves will be blowing around, as well, off of the trees. 58 degrees yesterday when it should have been 65.
